Comfort Temperature Solutions partnered with a large warehouse and workshop facility to design and implement a comprehensive HVAC upgrade, addressing challenges with inconsistent temperatures, poor air quality, and high energy costs. The project focused on creating a comfortable and productive environment for employees while minimising operational expenses. We installed a combination of high-efficiency air conditioning and cooling systems to maintain consistent temperatures throughout the vast space, complemented by advanced air source heat pumps for both heating and cooling, providing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution. Critically, we implemented a robust ventilation and extraction system to remove airborne contaminants and improve overall air quality, ensuring a healthy and safe working environment.
How Did We Do It?
Our approach began with a detailed assessment of the warehouse and workshop, considering factors such as size, layout, occupancy, and specific operational needs. We selected high-quality equipment from leading manufacturers, including Mitsubishi Electric as Comfort Temperature Solutions are accredited installers. To address air circulation challenges within the large open space, we incorporated Powrmatic destratification fans to prevent temperature stratification and ensure even distribution of conditioned air. For the ventilation system, we utilised Prihoda Fabric ducting and diffusers, chosen for their ability to provide uniform airflow and their hygienic properties, crucial for maintaining air quality in a workshop environment. Our team of certified technicians meticulously installed and tested all components, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to all relevant building codes and safety regulations. We provided comprehensive training to the facility's staff on the operation and maintenance of the new systems, ensuring long-term performance and reliability.
